Unlike most "Louisiana style calls," the tone board is wider than the internal diameter of the exhaust, and locks at a fixed length allowing only the reeds to be adjustable. It also sits flush inside the barrel, which helps with response, volume, and control.
Having 2 tapered "cutdown style" reeds and sliding wedge, the Edison is fully acrylic. Don’t be afraid to take it apart, and make the call fit you. ("Call Assembly" video link below)
